The Boat

The Mondy Man Fishing Charters operates out of the 2012 Legend Alpha 191. This American Bass boat is powered by a 200hp Mercury Optimax motor, so it’s got more than enough grunt for the job.

The boat is incredibly stable, and its large front and back decks make it an awesome platform to fish off.

The Mondy Man vessel is fitted with dual Humminbird Helix 12 Gen 4 Sounders as well as Mega 360 imaging which is a vital tool in finding and catching fish.

The Lake

Lake Monduran is located an hour inland from Bundaberg, Queensland, behind the Fred Haigh Dam (also known as the Monduran Dam).

The lake is renowned for its huge barramundi, and has a reputation for being tough fishing for even the most experienced of anglers. That’s why it’s good value to fish with an experienced guide.

At full capacity, Lake Monduran has more than 600km of zig-zagging shoreline. It takes many days to fully explore.

The main target species in Lake Monduran are Barramundi and Australian Bass with the mighty Barra being the main drawcard for most visitors to the lake.
