Whether you are an avid angler looking to learn how to fish Lake Monduran, or you just want the chance to catch Australia’s most iconic fish, we can cater the experience to your needs.

The boat is licensed to carry two passengers in addition to the driver.

Our charters are designed for two passengers so the prices are great value for splitting between two.

All Year Round Charters

  • Six Hour Day
    2 people  – $425 pp
    1 person – $750

  • Eight Hour Day
    2 people – $500 pp
    1 person – $900

  • Night Sessions (min 6 hours)
    2 people – $500 pp
    1 person – $800

What’s Provided

  • All fishing gear is provided, but you’re more than welcome to bring your own if you prefer.

  • Water will be available if you forget your own.

  • Polarized sunglasses are very helpful

  • A Queensland Government SIPS permit is required to fish at Lake Monduran. If you don’t already have one valid for the date of your booking, you can get one online (visit the link at the bottom of the page). Make sure you obtain your SIPS permit in time for your charter! The permit is delivered digitally, and you must carry your permit (digital email, digital sms, paper receipt) with you when fishing in a stocked impoundment and produce it on request by QBFP.

Safety

Commercial vessels are subject to very strict laws relating to vessel features, safety gear, and crew qualifications meaning you can rest assured that your safety is paramount while aboard The Mondy Man Fishing Charters.

Due to standing timber, navigating Lake Monduran can be hazardous for the inexperienced, and this is another great reason for booking a trip with us before you attempt to tackle this giant lake on your own.
